Mavericks Netball Club is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children. We have a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and require all volunteers to hold a Working With Children Check.

We're here to help....

If something doesn't feel right, it's ok to speak up. You won't get in trouble. We are here to listen and help you. If someone is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services on 000 right away.

When should you tell someone?

  • Someone makes you feel uncomfortable

  • Someone is being mean or bullying

  • Something happens online that doesn't feel right

  • You feel unsafe at training or games

  • Something just doesn't feel right inside

Who can you talk to?

  • Your parent or carer

  • Your coach

  • Your team manager

  • Or our Child Safety Officer
