Mavericks Netball Club is a community based netball club playing within the Bayside District Netball Association.
We focus on quality coaching (our Head of Coaching is a former SDNA Representative Coach) as well as team and individual player development.

We like to provide Community connection for our Players, Coaches and their families in a harmonious, supportive environment.

TRAINING DETAILS
Under 11's – Wednesday 4pm – 5pm
Under 13's - Wednesday 5pm-6pm
Under 15's/17's - Wednesday 6pm-7pm
*Training times may vary according to coach availability and training team alignment.

Where – Holloway Rd Netball Complex (Bayside District Netball Association Venue)
​
Training Structure – First half of training is focused on warm up & age appropriate skill development. Second half of training is focused on game practice, with encouragement and reinforcement of skills.
​
Note: In U11, all Players will develop awareness and have game day experience in all netball positions. This age group are still developing their skills so it is important that players are not pigeon holed into particular positions in this age group. This is also stipulated by the Bayside District Netball Association guidelines.

SATURDAY GAME DETAILS​
​
Due to limited court space at Bayside District Netball Association, U9's play on Thursday nights - U9's who have a clash with basketball can opt to play Saturday morning's in the bottom age U11's division.
​
Time – Games commence at between 9am and 3pm generally in age order with the younger players playing early and senior players playing in the afternoon.
​
Location – Holloway Rd Netball Courts (same location as training – but different courts depending on the fixture).
​
Fees – $320. Includes Victorian Netball Association Membership Insurance of $75, plus all Coaching and Games for the Winter Season
​
Umpiring – Our BDNA Umpires are great at assisting players with the many rules of netball. It is a wonderful supportive environment for Players to learn netball.

NETBALL ATTIRE​
​
Training – We encourage Players to wear black shorts and a hot pink or bright blue t-shirts (Mavericks colours). Some teams may choose to design a specific training t-shirt (please ask the Club for details).
​
Netball Runners at all times – Please wear specific netball runners so you have correct ankle support for training and games.
​
Mavericks Netball Dresses – We do think we have the most amazing dresses at SDNA! Dresses can be purchased for $65.
​
Mavericks Hoodies & Caps – We also offer hoodies in pink or black, as well as Mavericks black caps.
